Private Pilot Training Our training curriculum was developed to aid the student in reaching his or her potential in the shortest amount of time in order to save training dollars. Our program was devised by uniting the faster paced training programs of CFR Part 141 schools, with the newer approach offered by Part 61 schools. This combination allows us to tailor a program to meet your needs in the minimal amount of time. While the average Private Pilot takes his or her check ride at 73 hours, we believe we can bring that substantially closer to the required 40 hours for the rating. That's an average savings of 33 flight hours. |
Instrument Rating While the Instrument Rating is said to be the hardest of all ratings to attain, it can certainly be the most rewarding. Too many times we may have to cancel a trip to a place with beautiful weather only because we couldn't get out of our local airport due to weather. Your Instrument Rating will help you get passed that and on to the good times ahead. Training in the North East will help to ensure you know how to make the real life go or no-go decisions, and you make them accurately. Contact us today to find out more about what this rating can do for you. |

Safety Spotlight VideoThis is a perfect example of what not to do. Controlled flight into terrain in IMC conditions is one of the leading causes of aviation incidents. While this video does not end in an aviation accident, it very well could have. In fact, another 12 inches or so, and it likely would have. Flying incidents such as this typically involve one or more factors leading up to the actual incident. Like links in a chain, the pending outcome can be broken at any time through the use of good judgement, and aeronautical decision making skills. Watch this short video with both eyes open, and think to yourself where you might have been able to break this chain. Where might you have made a difference and avoided the potential for danger? Aviation safety is about pre-flight planning, exercising good judgment, and applying past experience and the experience of others. Many times the younger pilot doesn't have a large inventory of experience to pull from. Don't let this happen to you, add this to your experience library today, and let it help you prevent from making such a poor decision in the future.
